Leather Care & Repair
Cleaning:
- Wipe with a soft damp cloth {make sure it is damp not wet}
- Use a specialized leather bag cleaner for stubborn marks or dirt, but be aware that this can discolor your leather.
- Let water drops dry naturally, using heat to dry can warp your leather.
Protection:
- It is worth protecting your leather with one of the many leather protection products on the market. Just remember to test it on a small part of the bag first as it may discolor the leather.
- Be aware that natural textiles like leather, silks, wool and unwashed or dark denim may rub off onto the lighter colored leather and fabrics in moist or wet conditions if the leather is not protected.
- Store it in a cool, dry place with good air ventilation.
- Since leather is porous, it loses moisture through evaporation. Use a leather conditioner once in a while to keep your bag super soft, protected and looking its best. Wipe excess product and allow the bag to air dry completely before storing it
- Never leave your leather bag lying in the sun or exposed to the elements.

LUSHER Brand bags and belts are handmade in our workshop in Tuscany Italy from soft, sustainable Italian leather and are 100% finished by hand. Once each batch of bags is completed our whole team spends long days carefully quality controling each bag and belt's interior, straps, zippers and leather to ensure no bag is shipped to our customers with flaws. We handmake an organic canvas tote for each bag and wrap them in plastic to ship to our shipping team located in Delta B.C Canada where they under go a second QQ check prior to shipping to customers in the US and Canada. Any item we determine is flawed is added to our Second Sale for our vintage loving customers to shop deeply discounted. We want our customers to have a great experience receiving their bag. Unlike big fashion brands we don't add an additional 25-50% to our prices to cover replacements and we don't charge for warranties.
Once a bag is received by our customers we only accept returns on items unused and in perfect condition. ( as received) Customers are resposible for any damage that occurs after use. If you receive your bag and perceive it as flawed, contact us immediately (within the first two days) with photos attached and our team will assist immediately. If you do not contact us within the return deadline it is reasonable for to assume you are satisfied and keeping your bag.
Wear and tear is to be expected & sometimes damage can happen because of misuse, accidents or learning how to use a new bag. We do not charge for or offer warrenties nor do we offer repair service in North America. We encourage our customers to repair any damage which has occured during use and continue to use their bag, it will just get better with age. For quick and affordable repairs, take your bag to a local luggage and bag repair shop. Please note we do not accept used, damaged items back as returns or exchanges for any reason.
