How soft leather backpacks and purses are measured

Soft leather backpacks and bags are typically measured in three main dimensions: height, width, and depth. We provide detailed measurements to help potential buyers understand the size and capacity of the bag. Here's how each dimension is measured:

  1. Height: Measured vertically from the bottom of the bag to the highest point (usually the top edge/seem).

  2. Width: Width is distance from one side to the other at the widest point of the bag. This is usually taken from the left seam to the right seam on the bottom the bag where the base is firm. Important to note soft bags have more room and are spacious, not limited to the firm edges of the bottom measurements.

  3. Depth: Measure the distance from the front to the back of the bag again on the bottom of the bag where it's firm and can accurate be measured. With soft bags this distance will expand when the bag is full.

When listing or describing a soft leather backpack or bag, the measurements are presented in the following format: Height x Width x Depth (in inches) For example, a bag might be described as 12" H x 10" W x 4" or 30 cm H x 25 cm W x 10 cm.

Additionally, some bags may have additional measurements like strap length (for backpacks) or handle drop length (for handbags), which are important for determining how the bag will fit and hang when worn.
